General Management Consultant

Woodside is currently searching for a full-time General Management Consultant to support The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to work collaboratively and bring creative solutions to our Veterans Health Administration (VHA) clients. This role contributes to improving the Veteran’s lives and working toward a larger mission.

  -  Support client directors/managers with high-level, cross-functional focus and assistance.
  -  Delivery of high quality, senior executive-level deliverables.
  -  Evaluate analytical results and develop new and adapted analytical techniques.
  -  Prepare briefings, studies and reports for presentation to senior executive level and senior client      officials.
  -  Provide performance analysis and process improvement using industry best practice methodologies and tools.
  -  Design communication strategy products to client stakeholder groups, and build quality briefing presentations, social media postings, and other media.
  -  Review and analyze reports involving workload data, performance metrics, and other statistical information for content, completeness, and timeliness, and develop executive key summary information.

Required Skills:
  -  Must be a US Citizen or Green-Card Holder in-order to obtain Public Trust Clearance
  -  Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline
  -  5 - 10 years of relevant experience
  -  Strong organization and prioritization skills
  -  Powerful problem solving and analytical skills 
  -  Analyze quantitative and qualitative data
  -  Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
  -  Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative and results-driven environment
  -  Means to build and manage client relationships at all levels

Think strategically to effectively assess and assemble solutions to meet needs Desired Skills:
  -  Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from a recognized industry provider; proof of project completion/success will be required (online certifications will not be considered);
  -  knowledge of healthcare;
  -  healthcare policy and practice;
  -  supply chain, logistics, and acquisition;
  -  legislatively mandated program implementation.
